Nicro has always believed in eco-sustainability and in a conscious and responsible industry, as evidenced by the certifications and by the investments made to reduce our environmental impact and to improve the quality of life and of the work of our employees.

DESIGNED FOR
EFFICIENCY
Various strategies have been implemented in the design and construction of our current headquarters in Vailate to optimize the energy needs and emissions level.
The air conditioning system in the offices and in one part of the production area is managed through a modern heat pump system using only electricity for heating, cooling and the production of domestic hot water.
The external walls of our building are covered by steel sheets and aluminium composite panels with Alucobond polyethylene core, a material with special characteristics saving energy consumption.
In the external area we have created a covered waste storage zone, with a special system for filtering and waste disposal for water (first rain or the zone wash) and waste materials, with good preservation of the water conditions in our territory..

Saving
Almost all of the electricity used in our Company comes from the photovoltaic system installed on our buildings, which with an overall peak power of 200 kW and a production average of 360 MWh per year and an average annual saving of over 160 tons of CO2, 68 tons of Oil Equivalent (TOE).

For some years we have been establishing a corporate welfare plan, a decision dictated by the desire to improve the quality of life of our employees, their families and the territory which hosts us.

The Social Ethical Certification (Bollino Etico Sociale) is a certificate helping us to enhance the social innovation actions implemented by our Company for the attention to the land and people, for greater environmental sustainability but also for life.
Our will is to incorporate innovation, ethics and social responsibility into the corporate strategy, highlighting our values and objectives to measure and communicate the results of our initiatives with a positive impact.
